How to Grow a Great Iris

At the Amazing Iris Garden we know that growing the perfect Iris is all about knowing what to do and when to do it.

New Zealand’s varied environmental conditions can be challenging but by following these simple steps you’ll be well on your way to growing a faultless Iris bloom:

We dig our irises in December, February, March and April for delivery, as this is the best time in our area to move and divide Bearded Irises.
The Irises are transported bare-rooted. The plant is quite happy to do this, just ensure that you plant it shortly after you receive it.
